Directions to Gulf Waters Beach Front RV Resort from Corpus Christi and Port Aransas
Exit the ferry in Port Aransas, on Mustang Island, and take the first right turn onto Cut-Off Road.
At the next light, turn right onto TX-361 South (Alister Street).
Drive south for 5.6 miles to Gulf Waters Beach Front RV Resort on the left. We are less than a mile from the South property line of Cinnamon Shore North.
The ferry connects Port Aransas, on Mustang Island, with the mainland via Aransas Pass on State Hwy 361 South. The 6 miles typically takes less than ten minutes, although peak summer hours may require drivers to wait longer. The ferry is FREE and operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, weather permitting. You are able to bring your 5th wheel or RV on the ferry. Taking the ferry is a unique experience so relax and enjoy watching the dolphins and pelicans during the short ride cause you are now “on island time!”
During periods of very low tide, the ferry ramps may be too steep for certain RVs and larger trailers. In these cases, TxDOT may temporarily restrict oversized vehicles until conditions improve. We recommend checking current ferry conditions before your trip on the TxDOT website before heading to the island.
